The NBC "Today" show broadcasts from Historic Area

Sept. 24, 2008—It was “live” from Colonial Williamsburg as the “Today” show broadcast from the Historic Area as part of its “Today Takes on the Battleground States” series. Local residents, College of William & Mary students, and Colonial Williamsburg staff arrived at Duke of Gloucester Street early this morning for prime viewing spots of NBC’s Matt Lauer and Al Roker. Colonial Williamsburg costumed interpreters and tradespeople were featured near the Capitol and along Duke of Gloucester Street.
